It is St. Patrick's day.  Not to eventful here as the weather is blah. Dinner, however, was another matter.  Mom went all out and made probably one of the best corned beef and cabbage meals I have eaten in the last couple of decades. In addition there was the sticky buns that she made just for me. Superb. She has cooked all day. I went shopping for Mom's birthday next Sunday and found a nice new TV for the kitchen.  Not much money and so very much easier to see what is on the screen. I did not wait for her day but gave it to her today. So far she is really enjoying it.
