Here I go again. A Friday, cold, dark, rainy and windy. Went to the gym but my heart wasn't in it. Promised myself to go 3 times a week if possible and I will keep that up. Not that I was happy to do it today.
I think today will be a nap in front of the fire day. That seems like the best outcome. I know it will get warm eventually but it seems like nice weather is never going to come.

Lots and lots of rain and thunder and lightning last night. Some of the thunder and lightning were simultaneous. Mom says she was up all night with the storm and a good mystery book. Every time I looked over she was out like a light. But perhaps that was just between storms.
Not much new. Too crappy to go out for much. Band tonight.

I just noticed yesterday or maybe the day before that the trees have become fuzzy. The first indication that the leafing process has begun. Not a great observation, but one that is noteworthy. I look for it each year and am perpetually amazed when it happens. Spring is an amazing time. My crocuses have been up and are now gone. The daffodils are now nodding in their yellow gold glory and again we have beaten winter.

It's Friday and just a short post. Done at the gym for the week. Trying to go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and I made it this week. There have been some weather events lately that have precluded my attendance. We had torrential rain the other day. almost 2 inches in a day. Before that 18.5 inches on snow on a Monday. But, this week I made it all week. I noticed as I am typing this blog that I have a lap. I haven't lost much weight but the overhang is nearly gone.
Last May I weighed 259 and now abut 10 lbs less. However, I used to lift about 85,000 lbs and bike 4 miles in a session now it is 200,000 and 6.25. Not taking much more time but I am getting a lot of bang for the buck.
We'll see how it goes over the summer.
