What a weekend. Saturday started with a trap shoot. I didn't do too badly 19 and 18 but there were lots of shooters so I only went 2 rounds. Came home and cleaned the gun. Then off to a photo shoot at church where we get our family picture in a book of parishioners. After the photo shoot came the "lets sell these folks way more pictures than they need". Mom did and excellent job of resisting the very nice lady who was pushing us to by $500 worth of photos. Then we went over to Dave's as he was having a fish fry. We didn't stay long because Mom wanted to go to Mass. We decided Sarah was done for the day so Mom went for all of us. Finally dinner. I cooked out on the new burners for my grill and the day was over.
Sunday I was treated ROYALLY for Fathers day.
I need to stop eating so much or all my diet gains will be literally behind me.
Off to the gym today.

Not an inspiring week. Did not get much accomplished. Did put in the AC. Boy was it hot. 90+ and 90+ humidity. You just sat around with your clothes stuck to you. Movement away from a fan was not an option.
Wanted to go to the range but combinations of weather and other demands prevented that.
Hope to go to a trap shoot tomorrow.

A jaunt to Cleveland
Finally on Monday at the end of June we were off to Cleveland. An uneventful trip but for me missing the turnoff in Indianapolis which got us to see some really interesting areas of town. By this, I mean those neighborhoods that I wouldn't send someone I did not like out after dark.
Soon we were on the route and arrived safe. The children were out to meet us and we were treated like visiting royalty.
So much to tell, Bridget lost her 1st tooth.
The children played and played. I was amazed at how creative they were. Henry and Emmett had taken a small basketball hoop apart and were using it for a cannon. By sitting on the hoop Henry could spin the post part around. I was shot a lot. Emmett, was trying to bomb Henry with a ball in a net. Never could get that part, but it made sense to them.
The next important event was that Bridget finished Kindergarden. Here she is on the last day of regular school. So grown up. This is in the morning before she went. And here she is after school with her very proud dad. It just doesn't get any better than this.
I could not go to the actual graduation so I don't have any photos. Nanna went but Molly said she cried, so I am glad I wasn't there or I would have cried too.
The children are so busy. Always on the go. Here are a few still photos of Henry and Emmett in their back yard.
Note the cape on Super Emmett. He really likes Superman. By the way he learned to ride a 2 wheeler all by himself. He watched the others last year and just decided he could do it too. He used Bridget's bike as the learner bike was on loan and hadn't been returned yet. This was OK with Bridget until she decided it was her turn to ride, and then the possessive gene took over. I was so proud of Emmett. He even learned to push off, so he never need ask for help with this again.
I said that the boys seem enthralled with Superman. I got that downloaded on the pad and here they are mesmerized.
Bridget decided that it was Summer. It was quite hot while we were there. Very unseasonable I was told. But sweaty weather just the same.
Bridget found a good way to stay cool.
Henry even took the time to explain WW II to me. He reads so well. Sounds like a 4th or 5th grader. Bridget also reads very well and is working on her math facts. She will keep him hopping to stay ahead.
Just before we had to come home the whole family went to Tai-Quan-Do. The children especially seem to really enjoy it.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. We had to go home. Now we can anticipate the next time they come home. We had a great time and can't wait to see everyone again.
